Recently picked up a well used Certina DS-2 Super PH1000M but unfortunately some ham fisted soul over buffed the left side of the case at some point and flattened out the nice curve at its peak.
Normally I prefer an unrestored watch. But while I appreciate the history imparted by the wearer, history imparted by a bad watchmaker kind of bugs me on some level.
Is it possible to build the material up in that area with micro welding and reshape/refinish?
If so what would it cost?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
