Sekonda? It's the watch who would be king :).

If it's plastic there's a chance you can simply pop the old one out and pop a new one in, but it helps to have a crystal lift.
I hope I look as good as my Hamilton when I'm seventy. I guess time will tell.

OK have received the watch today. It appears to be a glass rather than plastic crystal.

So I need an idiots guide on how to remove and replace with a new one please.

The crystal is not glass, but plastic, except it is one of those very old style the crystall need to insert with an insertion device, the movement need remove from the case, push the crystal out from inside, the new crystal is very flat plastic, no side wall, the insertion tool is two part of cup shape press, one larger outside in the front, smaller side press from the inside, force the crystal forms a curvature so just fit to the bezel of the case.
use a sharp object to scratch your "glass" crystal, and you would see a mark, that is how easy to tell the plastic.
If needed, you can send me to have the crystal replace.
