how to restore silver hand?

Hi,

One of my watch min hand was blured with scratches. I decide to take it out for polishing to chrome finish. It turn goldish after using a mirror finish sand paper. Its back to chrome finish but it turn yellowish/goldish color. How can I restore it back to silver chrome finish?

Most likely a plated hand, so after polishing you would have to get it plated again.

Thanks! Any idea how to plated it with simple home use solution? Chrome spray? But will it finished well?

i think you need to use rhodium for that.

take it to a jeweler and he will make it for you, with a certain amount to cover the expenses
