    Movement identified please?

    Hello this is my first post..
    My name is arya.
    I found this NOS manual handwind movement.
    But the seller dont know what brand is this..
    It says "17 seventeen jewels unadjusted swiss made" with PR big stamp..
    I will use this for my first watch prototype..
    Need your help please to identified this movement.

    but i already search for few hours and can not find something related.
    what i think it look almost close is only Baumgatner..but its not look same..

    Why would you choose this of all calibers?

    What is the diameter?

    I don't know this or the balance shock system, but I think a nice large movement without a date complication would be a better choice. When those microscopic screws and detents and springs go flying it can be very discouraging.

    The reason why i choose this one is because avability of the movement aroud me...i am living in indonesia and hard to find some one who sell the watch movement around here.

    Yup my bad..i buy this one online and not knowing if its small size movement .
    I think i will move to seagull st36 for the protype and will move to ETA 6497 before its dries up from the market???

    thanks for your quick reply sir.
    its really helpfull..
    i see some equipment i will need mostly in esslinger and ofrei.
    anyway what do you think about burl wood watch..
    i already supplies some pen maker knife maker and some exotic wood lover around the world for almost five years and yes i got addict about wood since the time..

    i have plan to make watch with small wood accent.
    not too woody but not losing the woody part..
