    Newbie Sweep Second Hand

Hi I have a few cheap mechanicals. I have a sixties "Akro", which looks like one of these understated Avias (cool watches) from the same period. When I bought it it had no second hand. I just thought that it wasn't meant to have a second hand and had no second function, but I looked at it under a loupe and I think that the second hand is just missing. The case can be opened without removing the winding pin, so I'm suspecting that the hand has gone missing when someone has had a tinker. Does anyone know if this watch is likely never to have had a second hand, and how easy would it be to find a replacement if it was supposed to have one?

Thanks in advance if anyone has any advice.

Watch brand has nothing to do with its movement spec. If you can find any number on the back side of the movement, or take a picture and post here, there will be some chance to find the pinion size to fit a second hand. Second hand from original manufacture only can order from the manufacture. There are replacement second hands available from supply houses, order by length, opening size and color.
