My links are still like new. This guy is selling replicas as the real thing. I'd say that's pretty much a fraud.

If you paid with paypal or bought through ebay then start a dispute immediately. Do NOT try to work with the vendor. Shipping a counterfeit CAN be against the law (it is illegal in the USA for example to ship through USPS which is United States Postal Service). Please see local laws in your country, state, and city.
Start the dispute or charge back. Do not offer to ship the watch unless your bank, paypal, or ebay will be liable for any criminal charges in writing.
I find it amazing that 3 people with YEARS of experience as service people and watchmakers believe it is genuine. Only when it's opened up is it determined to be a probable fake, yet the armchair experts here conclude from looking at a few pictures that it's a fake. IF it's a fake (probable at this point, although still unproven) it's a very good quality watch. Ignorance was bliss prior to checking it out and now we have a disappointed PRC200 owner whose joy of ownership has gone out the window.
I say enjoy the watch fake or not, and consider it a life experience.
Thanks for the info Legge. It's not as bad as some of my other HEL watches, though one side on the bottom link is definitely not touching the case. The other side is still perfect.
I'll have to contact paypal about it I suppose. This is another message (two in one) from Saltrini after I told him that the movement inside is the genuine ETA, though wasn't constructed by TISSOT and seems counterfeit (as some of you are suggesting. How hard is it to aquire the ETA g10.211? It's my understanding that it is Swiss made, though not by TISSOT and they just put their brand on it? Could be wrong)
Hi, my friend, of course! it is right! when they put it into the computer at Swatch there was no valid watch under that number. because the watch was sold by me, Not by your local Retailers , So the number do not be entry their computer!
Another I want to tell you , I sure you should know that it is very very easy to get a serial number, Such as you only need go to the tissot shop , because it is public to anyone , it is not keep secret ! if the watch is fake, Do not they know to the shop to find a real serial number ? it is very very easy to make a real serial number , Another if t he watch is fake , all the serial number should be the full same, but my watch serial number is unique ! Do you think ? my friend, thanks!
Yes, I agree that the The movement inside the PRC200 (ETA G10.211) should be a cheap quartz, because all the quartz movement is cheap! but I do not trust that it can be bought by anyone , it is impossible !!! if you only to want to buy several moment, it should be possible, because some maybe was sold or was brought by tissot repair worker or others, but if you bought many many with a big quantity , I do not trust ! because I have never heard Tissot company would like sell their movement to others so that to made a fake watch! Do you think ? my friend
I told you that Tissot company have many accessory factory in worldwide which country with a lower labor value salary, in different factory and different batch for different market , and it can not has a 100% full same, and the T17.1.586.42 was invent about on 2005 or 2006 years, it was update many times, all theese I only want to you tell me , my watch is orignal not fake, my friend, some the local service center , in order to protect local dealer profits , they have to make the watch in a very high price { because the expensive cost ( very Expensive Rental shop fee and salary, etc , Not as in Ebay )}.... Continuous in the next message!
So that they can get the more profits,, they will not tell you the fact about this, or they also not know more about these fact , they only want to earn money!
Yes , a buyer give me a bad feedback , because the first time he also thought it is fake ,but after I told him this fact , he checked it on Tissot dealer and he know the fact in last time, I sold about more 1000 watches only on ebay , only 3-4 buyer , Not more than 5 buyer ask me about real or fake , it is normal, my friend, if you still do agree my idea , I can accet your return, and I must give you a full refund! even I can refund to you immediately , once you tell me the return number , before I receive it ! because I trust you! I am friendly, any question , you can please feel free to talk with me ,thanks!
Best Regards!
I really do want to trust this guy. He is quite convincing, and it's not his fault if he doesn't know any better. He sure sounds like he doesn't have a clue to be honest.

I've been thinking about it! It is a absolutley beautiful watch, albiet a rep. If the movement in it is the same as the genuine PRC200, and the appearance is 95% similar, it almost doesn't seem worth the hassle of returning it and finding another source of legitimate PRC200s. (I could get one in an AD here in AUS, though would have to fork out an additional 350).
Ultimately though I know I won't be able to live with a $260 replica on my wrist. Even if it is still quite magnificent.
What he is saying is quite plausible. I'm still far from convinced it's a fake. What really bugs me is all the "fake" police that come out of the woodwork and declare it a fake. Enjoy it.
I happen to have 2 PRC200s I bought off ebay, both from the same seller but at different times. Both were significantly less $ than the one referenced in this thread. One is blue on a steel bracelet and the other is black on a leather bracelet. I have to admit I was a little leary from all the fake paranoia on here but the seller claimed to sell only genuine authentic Tissot watches.
In both cases there was a receipt from an actual bricks and mortar Jewelry shop in Hong Kong included in the box. I was able to confirm via google as well and found their website which matched the address on the receipt. Out of curiousity I took both of them along with all packaging to a local jeweler who is also a Tissot AD to check them out. He said they are as genuine as the nose on my face.
I'm almost certain if I posted pictures of them on here, some of the experts would be quick to declare them fake as well. Just sayin'.

Hmm all you've done is thrown a unnecessary near-strawman argument to disqualify our opinions, which were just that opinions. We're not experts.
You bought a watch for a low price, and have not really confirmed authenticity. Authorized Dealer's for Tissot are quite frankly as good as going to Macy's for authentication, unless the AD has a watchmaker in house ignore their opinions.
The OP has taken them to a Swatch group servicing center, they were unable to pull up records on the serial. It's as good a sign as any that it is a fake watch.
