How much is reasonable for watch service?

I took my prs516 auto to a watchmaker and was told I need to do a full service to solve timing issues (other thread). And was quoted 250$ for it. Seems like a lot, like being charged 10K to change oil on a civic. Am I missing something? What's a reasonable price for a service?

For a day date automatic, I'd expect to pay a maximum of $200. Much of the price depends on where you live or where the watchmaker's shop is. You pay allot for a nice glossy shop in a high rent district.

My watchmaker charges $65, and I am very fortunate....
