Ok Sean, would be interesting in keeping us informed in this threat. That is - of course - if the information is public.

    I also found these:

OMG, I am scared of buying watches online now. Do you guys know a good website that is guaranteed to be genuine? I have a few websites on my bookmark right now, as I was planning to buy one, but now I am not so sure!

Re: How to spot a fake Tissot

Hello all, i have a prs200 which i bought from a car boot for £2.00 (knocked him down from a fiver because it needed a new battery!!)
i couldn't believe my luck when i saw it sitting there, no strap but no problem, my g10 strap fits it fine. the guy said he bought a job lot from a police auction, anyway i bought the watch and the guy thought he had got the upper hand by proudly showing me his wrist and saying " i kept the timex for myself".
i love the watch and wear it quite often, the only niggle is the bezel has had a hard life, can these be bought and replaced easily?

    2 Quid?!!!!

Blimey....that's a bit of a result I know people who've been to police auctions, and it's silly what you can find there, for hardly any money at all!!

As for replacing the bezel?? I can't see why it couldn't be done, but it won't be cheap if you send it back to Tissot!!

May be worth looking at an online parts co' like Cousins...... http://www.cousinsuk.com/

who may be able to source one for you?!!

How to spot a fake Tissot T-touch? Do the fake ones have the touch technology? Altimeter, Meteo, etc.? Just want to make sure the one I have is not fake.

With mine, all of the touch functions work as stated in the manual.

    Thanks,

    GP

If everything works then it's original.
    Cheers!
