Please help me find a watch!

Hi everybody, this is my first message on this forum.
For years I have been looking over the internet, trying to find a specific Tissot watch. I remember its code - T16.1.425.51 and I believe it was a Sport Diver. Any hint on where I can find one?

Are you sure that number is correct? I don't seem to come up with anything with that number. Your best bet is to look on Ebay for the Tissot watch that you like,and make sure they ship world wide.

Yes, the number is correct. 10 years ago I was very close to get one, is just that the stock emptied and they got newer models.
Also, 10 years ago, Google was able to find a photo of this model.
Recently Tissot SA told me the watch is from 1988, but I think they meant 1998. Is this possible? Is there anyone here with a catalog from that year?

Nope. And I think it was Chronograph.
