Vintage gold tissot watch, info?

Hello, im hoping someone can help me. My dad has had this watch since the mid 80s. We don't know anything about it. He did say it is gold.

We both can't find any info on the net on this watch and I'm hoping someone on this forum can help.

I apologize for the low quality images but if anyone would have any info on this watch we'd appreciate it.

It doesn't show on the picture but the face of the watch (the black part) has the tissot logo throughout. thank you in advance for any info anyone can share.

Looks like tissot classic seastar.. Does it has seastar mentioned? Secondly that bracelet was not made by tissot.. I am sure about it! Nor this watch is 100% gold.. Tissot doesnt make gold watches... only gold plated color tone...May be your dad got a custom gold bracelet made.. You can visit your jeweller and get the valuation for it. Else the watch is worth nothing.. Its everywhere on ebay for for just few dollars..

^^ Great, thank you.. Figures why I couldn't find any info on it. He did have it evaluated years ago for about 1400$ or so. I'm figuring that the bracelet is gold which is what brought the price up.

By the way,

is it common for Tissot watches to have nothing written on the backplate of the watch?

Well! I am sure this is not Tissot dial,back and bracelet! I believe someone has used the movement and dial and fixed it in that 3rd party casing. Looks like its a custom case if its gold. Else the movement is worth nothing and sold for just few dollars on ebay. If its gold.. get it melted and valued. And if it was valued 1400$..it must be the value of the amout of gold used... One thing for sure that its not Tissot casing.
