I just tried to bring some of these facts to Kickstarter...But there is no place to register complaints!

I just used the report button on the bottom of the project screen. Hopefully Kickstarter does review the project. Honestly, before I found the Lew & Huey project and was clued in to this forum by Chris Vail I may have been suckered in as well since I basically knew almost nothing as recent as a few weeks ago. I'm very thankful for all of you and this forum to put me on the right path.

ROFLMAO! The first rule for investing and spending money is do your own due diligence and use some common sense before sending a complete stranger money in exchange for a promise. Kickstarter strikes me as a fine place for would-be entrepreneurs and seasoned opportunists to make money. Less as a place for consumers to find good merchandise at reasonable prices.

    Re: Terry Allison Kickstarter (Scam?)

Seems to me Terry Allison has been running a few scams on Kickstarter.

    Montrex

Independent Watch Company <-- This one is interesting. The name is Jonathan Witherell on that project. But the concepts and language are the same. I found this online:

Certified Contractors Coalition, Inc. - Denver, CO (Colorado) | (214) 699-9755

Both are listed as officers. Company claims to have 400 employees! The best part is, the services they offer are to protect consumers from "shady contractors". Oh boy.

HavWood. (The first watch design by a woman)

HavWood was pulled down for some reason and they never explained why. It was surreal. Basically it was a really attractive woman smiling in every shot. But it was boosted by Terry's other project and is also located in the Denver area.

This guy is basically a professional scam artist. The problem is, how do you get Kickstarter to listen? They seem absolutely content to let these kinds of project run.

I just realized. This guy wears disguises!!! Hahahaha.

Seriously. Look at him in the Montrex Video, then look at him again in the Havwood Video.

Havwood Video: (Terry Allison shows up in the middle of the video)

HavWood Watches Wood/Steel Watch In Men's and Women's Styles by HavWood Watches — Kickstarter

In the Montrex, he throws on glasses, musses his hair, and tucks himself in the corner of the screen.

Why not a fake moustache too?

    Too funny.
