    Casio Pathfinder PAW1300B-4V

I decided I like this one, its my first Pathfinder. So posting some pics. Quite impressed with the piece has more bells & whistles than you could imagine. Its measurements are large coming in at 56.9 x 47.4 x 11.5. Its thin profile makes it suitable for my 6.5-6.6" wrists, I am quite surprised. This model with the bronze highlights is outstanding. A Japanese manufactured piece it has all the bells & whistles. Yes the backlight comes on in the dark when you tilt your wrist if set to, display shuts down to sleep if set so, atomic, solar, altimeter, barometer, thermo, compass, selectable format for the date, big honkin numbers all the stuff one can play with.

The low temp display is easy to read, a short backlight though but its fine with those big numbers.

Case is well made. Buttons feel good. Time will tell. I do like the color of the case and contrast

The strap is a stiff one but breaking in a bit after a day with it. The strap keeper is a velcro thing, big and a bit bulky but had a couple extra g-shock keepers that work very very well

What more can I say. Had it a day! Curious how the case finish will hold up over time but I am anal with keeping my watches intact and mark free

I can only give it a 7 out of 10 though because it won't operate my garage door, my TV or set my home alarm!

And yes I am wearing shorts and runners goofing around outside, yep its only -10, spring time boys

The simply pleasure of holding life’s vintage treasures is truly a joy. Some stay, some go to make room for others, you play with them for a while then look for a new toy, it is an addiction at least, a fascination of what is no more at best!

    Great purchase!

Would you happen to have any photos of the back of the watch? I'm curious to see how the bands attatch to those enlinks.

    Thanks

late in the eve for pics. but the leather wraps around and then is stitched. so you could almost use a thin nato but would not look right and would make the watch sit very high
