moVas chronograph

Ever since a post was made many months ago regarding the moVas watches I got especially interested in the chronograph (I love chronographs). I liked the sporty look and orange being my favorite color I liked the subtle orange on the dial. So, after thinking about it and contacting moVas for more info I decided to go for the moVas chronograph a few weeks ago.

The colors of white, orange and black is a good combination. The very clear and bright white brings out the orange and the carbon fiber dial in sunlight looks spectacular.

Package
The watch comes in a BIG watch box which is the basic black with white stitching.

Case
Stainless steel with PVD coating which I think looks very nice.

Dial
The dial has a very cool deepness of it due to the carbon fiber which gives it a 3D look when exposed to light (especially sunlight) and when changing angle of how the light hit it.

Straps
I got a two leather straps (black and beige) and a rubber strap. I prefer the beige rubber strap, for some reason more comfortable than the black strap even though they are the same size + it gives a nice contrast with the black and matches the subtle orange on the dial. The rubber strap is one of the most comfortable rubber straps that I have worn. It also looks good with white stitches and the two lifted “hills”.

Chronograph feature
The chronograph is accurate. It gained 2 seconds on a 12 hour timing, which is something you can definitely not complain about!

Lume
Gives off a cool lume look, but the lume only lasts for 15-20 minutes which is a shame.

Comments
I like date displays on my watches and it would definitely fit on this dial; unfortunately this is not the case but hopefully for future chronograph models a date display will be there.

Conclusion
Overall, I like the watch. Yes, it’s fairly large but it feels nice on the wrist and fits my wrist very well. The details on the dial (carbon fiber element) looks amazing in the sunlight. The sunlight gives it a 3D look (not the easiest to take a picture of – hence I borrowed pictures from the moVas website).
It has become one of my favorite watches in my collection!!
