Seiko SNAE67 Chrono: Brief Review and First Impressions

I got this watch on Monday after waiting for Canada Post to get their act together. I saw this watch for the first time in the November issue of WATCH magazine and I was instantly drawn to it. Here are my first impressions and my thoughts after wearing it for a couple of days.



PROs:
-Sapphire crystal
-build quality is excellent / very solid
-timing is very good - maybe it's too early to tell, but after two days it's only 1 sec behind my Citizen AT
-surprisingly good lume
-awesome crystal and the dial has a lot of detail
-a lot of features (alarm / world time / chrono)



CONs:
-leather band has a couple of weird creases when being worn
-the watch is smaller in person than it looks in pictures - I bought it online and was expecting something "slightly" larger
-while the finish is excellent, it leaves fingerprints very easily
-when pushing chrono buttons you leave fingerprints on buttons and the case on the opposite side
-dial features look too "flashy" in some light (mainly the chrome bezels surrounding the chronos and the number markers).

VERDICT:
-this is a quality watch
-excellent fit and finish
-sapphire crystal
-seems very accurate
-average size
-inexpensive considering quality and options



Overall I recommend this watch and I am very proud to wear it. BTW this is my first Seiko.
