Avia - according to my knowledge - was founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds/Switzerland.
The only Avia watches I know date about 1950/1960.
Avia made worthy 750 gold cases but brass chrome plated cases too with (very) less expensive handwounded 15 jewels movements.
Menīs watches (three-hand-watches and chronogaphs) for example have been equipped with Valjoux, Landeron and Venus movements.
Kind regards

Looks like it could be from the 1930's?
Looks like a valjoux movement for sure but I can't be certain
Hi,
there is a similar watch actually for sale at Ebay:
edited by mod: no links to ebay auctions ! Pls. read our rules & guidelines
I do also own such a watch, but mine has a rotating bezel and a (probably) Hanhart dial:
GERMAN MILITARY WATCH FORUM - unknown german aviator chronograph - help wanted
The movement is a Hahn-Landeron
