I want to get this right the first time... EXPERIENCE WANTED

I'm looking for some help as this purchase would be the first in many respects: my first omega, first military, and first vintage.

I'm looking at a listing for an Omega RAF Pilot's watch, and I've been doing A LOT of comparisons between the different posts and some historical research: everything in the pics seem to check out, except one thing. The difference between the this pic against all other sites' pics is that the sub-seconds dial doesn't have a ring about the circumference. Am I looking to far into this or is this a legitimate concern? Also, are there any questions I should be asking the seller? He's told me it works and he doesn't know its service history.

Thanks for visiting this post and any valuable input is greatly appreciated.

    Any pic of the caseback?
Personally, I am very, very cautious when it comes to Military Issued Vintage watches, specially if they look as pristine as this....

I compared movement pics, too. Even the stamping on the bridges looked legit, from character font to finish.

Oh, the dial numbers definitely look different at a second glance...
Unless it's commonplace, during that time, to have minute differences in a series of watches as this?

My guess is that it's genuine except that the dial has had some 'freshening' work.

I am not an expert, though.
