Love that watch, but for me the filmic touchstone is with "Who Dares Wins" ( aka "The Final Option" ) from the same time period. Very cool movie. The protagonist checks his watch right before the assaulters hit an embassy in a sequence reminiscent of the events at Princes Gate.

    Nice watch!

Speaking of TG, do ejected pilot seats release some kind of bright chemical in the water so it's easier to spot the pilot?

***Spoiler if you haven't seen TG***

I remember watching TG and when Goose went in the water, there seemed to be this green substance but idk if that was just the parachute.

Great looking watch for sure, but didn't Maverick wear a Submariner in the movie?

You were in fact seeing a sea dye marker. These are a part of the pilot's LPU and are activated upon hitting the water.
