    Michael Dudikoff's Watch in "Cobra"

    Howdy Folks :)

While watching the '90-ies series "Cobra" (with Michael Dudikoff and James Tolkan) these weeks, I've noticed that Dudikoff's character is wearing a black ana/digi watch that I'm having trouble identifying...it appears to have a diving (or a compass) bezel and I am reasonably sure it's got a Miyota T480 quartz module.

It was a widely used module and thusly it makes IDing the watch all the more difficult but still - does anybody have an idea?

Thanks and have it nice!!! :)

If I had to guess I'd say a Chronosport UDT Type 2.

Hey THANKS for at least venturing a guess :D

I thought of the UDT too, but it has a different button set-up (two buttons on the right and one on the left, versus two on the left and one on the right as you can see in the pics), and the crown is realtively dead-centre at 3 o'clock, where as on MD's watch its is moved higher up, to approximately 2 o'clock and it's axis is parallel with the lugs, it's not radial...

Still, thanks for your input, it seems I can't spur anybody else up :-/

Have a look at this thread:

Looking for a vintage ana-digi, Part 2: Found it!

and then the Speidel in this thread:

    http://forums.watchuseek.com/f71/my-brand-new-$10-speidel-ana-digi-488041.html

My guess is that it looks like some kind of Armitron ana digi that the guy in the first thread describes.

    HGB, thank you here too

I looked at the links and it once again proves that a Miyota ist work here (quite litararly)...both the Armitron and the Speidel have the general look, but they both have the buttons for the digital part parallel to the lugs (as Citizen themselves used them) and as you can see it the photos, the button's on MD's watch are radialy oriented, exatctly at 10, 8 and 4 o'clock positions

    Still, THANK YOU!!!!
