    My first pilot

    Hello frequenters of f7! I just purchased my first pilot and wanted to say hi.

    I have to honestly say that I initially didn't think much of this type of watch, but they slowly grew on me - grew on me so much that this beauty made its way into my collection. Well, almost in my collection. Paid for and in route. I can't wait to actually receive it!

    IMO one of the better made pilots...under 600.00 that is... very nice choice.......

    Congrats, you can't go wrong with any Archimede Pilot.

    Btw: They will be back with a limited run of the PO. More to be read on our German Watches Forum. Archimede plans to manufacture blued hands in-house !!!!

    Hello, have just purchased Archimede Pilot XL Hand wound with ETA 6498 TOP. It should arrive in around 10 days. Do You have any experience regarding that watch and movement. Also would like to mention that watch can be customized additionally. I have requested case and watch in total to be polished but purchased it this morning and confirmation mail regarding being polished arrived evening London time so customizing it will stay for next one with auto movement. Price for additional polished case request is 200 euro.
    Also noticed that on youtube there is no any review of named watch. Can You provide link if exists or the one with nice photos. Once receive watch will post a few photos.

    Absolutely GORGEOUS watch!

    I love the hands and the date window at 4:30. The crystal doesn't appear to fish bowl like my maratac pilot.
