    Need Help Identifying This Watch

way back in my childhood, i had this analog/digital watch that i loved. unfortunately, the movement eventually failed on me. but i've been very interested in getting another one if i can ever find it.

meanwhile, i need help identifying the watch. the only name on the face is "Sensor"

what i do know about the watch is that it's a japan quartz movement screwback ana-digital with 20mm lugs.

    any ideas?

    [EDIT]

i opened the caseback and noticed the inscription "MIYOTA.CO.JAPAN 4800-01A ONE 1 JEWEL UNADJUSTED"

I have an amost identical movement (It does not have the 'Sensor' logo). It needs a thorough cleaning and a new battery (Renata 391 or equivalent). If you want it let me have your name and postal address.

    Hello withthesword,

I wondered if you ever identified your watch. I have a few bits of probably not too helpful info for you. I can tell you that that exact same configuration watch was featured in a close-up in the X-Files episode entitled "Blood". A similar configuration - same form factor - but with a white dial face was worn by series star Duchovney in some second season episodes. I can also relay to you that it has been reported elsewhere that Miyota is apparently the parent of Citizen. In addition to being marketed as the Sensor Quartz - the exact same configuration watch was also marketed under the brand names of Rodell7 as the Haverhill Navigator; Armatron as the AS Sport; and Consort. Some are for sale on Ebay. You may be able to obtain a new Miyota movement from one of their distributors.

I've got one with the same movement, a "Michéle". Still working perfectly, tho missing the battery strap (doesn't need).
