Thumbs Up Pilot looking for a specific watch. Help!

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I'm a military pilot looking for a new everyday watch. I currently wear a Casio AWG-100 but I'm looking for something a little nicer. I have a list of needs/wants and so far I haven't been able to find a watch that meets all of these. I'm hoping some of you experts can point me in the right direction. I'll list the needs/wants below in order of importance.

    1. Atomic timekeeping. I MUST have this to keep a good time hack every day. I don't want to call the Naval Observatory every day to make sure my hack is good.
    2. Analog and digital. I like having both. The kicker is, I really want a seconds hand on the analog, but this seems to be harder to find.
    3. Good looking. I know this is subjective, but I want something that looks good on my wrist. I like a bigger watch also.
    4. Negative face. I like the all-black look and negative digits.
    5. A good light. I absolutely hate the weak LED on my current G-shock. I want the Indaglow type light where the digits or background light up. I need something I can read in the cockpit at night.
    6. Resin band. I'm not a fan of the metal bands on my every day watch due to the weight. I'd like to keep it as light as possible.

So this is pretty much it. The two I have been looking at are the Core All Black and the G-Shock GW3500-B. The Core doesn't have the Atomic time keeping or ana/digi face. The Casio doesn't have the seconds hand or the good light. I wish I could combine these two and make the perfect watch for me, but so far I haven't been able to find one. Any help?

    Hello TU,
A Breitling "Raven" would meet all your specs except atomic timekeeping. However, its "SuperQuartz" movement--accurate to at least 10 seconds or so a year will keep your time hack calls to a minimum.

The downside is its very high cost.

    Good luck with your search.

I think Casio and Citizen are your best bet for atomic watches.

The Citizen Skyhawk on a black rubber deployment band. The weak link would be the light but you would get 200m water resist.

Look at the Casio Waveceptor series:

    Casio Wave Ceptor Watches

    Some look pretty nice IMHO:

I chose a Skyhawk AT as I wanted a slide rule, but before I discovered those I was seriously looking at these.

A couple of other thoughts- I also wish any of these watches had an indiglo sized intensity to the lighting but I haven't found any that do. I can see getting my watch modded sometime with brighter lume on the hands.

Also, the atomic set feature may actually be a liability if you spend any amount of time somewhere other than Europe, USA, or Japan as you will lose the sync feature. I suppose if you have a bud who flies back and forth you could trade watches for a trip though soit could sync for you.

Oh, there is also this model if you want a resin band (personally I prefer a 1 piece band so if a spring bar breaks you don't lose your watch):

Amazon.com: Casio Men's WVA320J-1E Atomic Tough Solar Waveceptor Sports Watch: Casio: Watches
