i`m guessing it`s an homage of something? if it is what is the original watch, and if it`s not, are there anything similar to this watch?
I rather purchase timepieces from a pure watch company rather than a fashion brand, although at $500, it doesnt look too shabby in specs.
please post some of your pics and share some knowledge! thanks!

I have a couple that are similar design but are chronographs. The Hanhart is a manual wind chronograph based on their 1939 design that they issued to the Luftwaffe. The modern one is not a flyback model like the original but looks almost identical, complete with asymetrical pushers.

The Aerowatch is the same Valjoux 7760 movement and very similar in appearence to the Hanhart. I actually bought it as a (relatively) inexpensive experiment to see if I wanted to spend the money on a Hanhart. Which I did, lol.

The dial is reminiscent of the American A-11, lumed version; the needlenose hands are reminiscent of 1960s aviation chronographs, the bezel reminds one of 1930s aviation watches ... personally I think the hands are a tad too wide.

The Lum-Tec Combat series is very close to that.

+1 on that LumTec. When I saw the watch the OP posted, that LumTec immediately came to mind.

There are several variations including chrono. I think the one pictured can be had for about $500.
    Beautiful watch.

Man those are nice...I had no idea how much an Aerowatch cost but from your post all I saw was the word 'inexpensive' so I got my hopes all high and then googled 'Aerowatch' expecting to see something I could afford......all I can say is...you are ballin'

Ahh, the newer Aerowatches are pretty expensive. This model, a sold-out Timefactors offering from 2003 or so, is about $575. The Hanhart can be had (used) for about 3x that price.

Trust me, I am not ballin'! LOL I did enjoy your post, thanks for the laugh. :)
