    Black Face, Brown Band

I am interested in buying a Seiko SKA383P2 and a big brown leather, pilot style band for it. But I have two questions for those who wear black faced, brown banded watches:

    1. Do you wear them with brown or black shoes? (I would assume brown, as Black would seem kind of silly). 1b. Does the black on the dial, clash with any brown that you might be wearing?

    2. Can I see them?

I've seen blue face with brown band, bu I never would have though of that color combination. Looking at a few pics it looks pretty darn good. Maybe this is the beginning of a new fashion trend. I was always told to match your shoes with your belt. No mention of watches so I guess the watch could do both. Then again my girlfriend makes me return half the clothes I buy so what do I know?

Well, as is always the case it comes down to personal taste. But I think to say a brown strap just doesn't go with a black dialed watch would certainly not be in the majority.

For me there is absolutely no doubt that a black dialed watch is suitable to a brown strap. There are so many different combinations of brown leathers & threads out there that work so well, it is a no brainer....
