to be totally honest I didn't expect that. After all, there were quite a few watches, which passed through my hands last year. But this one seems to be very special - Hamilton Khaki Navy GMT. At first sight it is a classical look, not very flashy with, yes, a few obvious complications. But then...


... the sweeping second hand feels very different - it flows around the dial in kind of unstoppable motion, nice! The dial is not too busy, and has a quite pleasant 3D feel - time zone, dial, hands - all in different depth.
Then the quality - it's a joy to observe nice details, perfectly set. It also feels very instrument-like, the old unpretentious tool to measure the time.
Should not forget the weight - much lighter then my other heavy duty auto, which, unfortunately, can't be worn more than a few days without red marks on the wrist, especially bony parts hurt. This Hammy is lighter, easier to wear, ready to be worn every day.

I start to understand what pleasure the quality watch can bring. Maybe you have similar moments with your other choices - please share too :)
