    Classic style chronograph

Any suggestions for a classic style chronograph, something that gives lots of bang for the $'s.

    :thanks

Do you want quartz or automatic? Do you want it for dress, casual, sports or some combo? Do you like big watches or small?

Tissot PRC200 chrono is a popular quartz.

'Classic' is a pretty loose definition. Do you mean classic as in formal, dress? Or more vintage, oldschool?

Alpha's Paul Newman model is pretty classic in my book:

These are priced pretty good also.

    Thanks for the replies.

The Hamilton and the Alpha are along the style i am looking for, as for quartz or automatic not really concerned too much.
A rock solid movement would be good. As i said the main concrern on this one is 'bang for $'s '.
    :thanks

    +1.

but Omega Speedmaster is the most iconic chronograph, i guess. though it is not affordable price.

The Hamilton above is around 500.
If you want swiss auto and new, that's about as low as you'll find.

Or a jazzmaster, like KiwiDJ's that is a sweet piece, the one Tragic mentioned is no longer in production (i think).

    Take care

I'm also looking for a nice chrono and have narrowed it down (right now!) to the Alpha Paul newman ( not a real working chrono), the Seiko SNA225, or the Citizen V010-5892A...but all of them pale to the Omega! you already have the best! lol...Good luck!
