Cost of replacing a watch crystal

Does anybody here know around how much I might expect to be charged for replacement of a mineral glass crystal? I have damage on my Orient automatic 200m diver that there is no way it will come out. It needs to be replaced so I was wondering if anyone had experience with that. Thanks.

Re: Cost of replacing a watch crystal

This has happened before to me on cheap 100 dollar watches (fossil, guess, etc) and they always told me it would be cheaper to replace the watch than to repair the crystal.....

Definately get some quotes though, hopefully you will make out better than I did!

You might want to inquire with Northeast Watch Works too. Duarte just did a movement swap for my Orient King Diver, he does replacement crystals and installs custom parts.

    I hope this helps,

LOL, I specifically came to this site because I was just on the NEWW website and I saw the price of replacing the crystal and it reminded me of this thread so came here specifically for the purpose of posting that link
