    Dress casual chronograph Seiko SNAE29P1

This is my very first Roman numeral watch. I'm generally not a fan of Roman numeral, but I thought I should give one a try when I saw this model. I should also mention I was drinking when I ordered the watch. I was like "It's a new year! Why not?"

It's the Seiko SNAE29P1. The movement is a typical 7T62. It's about 42mm wide not counting the crown guard. It's about 52mm long. It's relatively long, but the lugs are nicely curved. So, the case fits your wrist very comfortably. The lug width is 21mm.

Since it's on the bracelet, it doesn't look so formal and it seems to be a nice dress casual watch.

The crystal is sapphire, which is surprising for a $139 Seiko chronograph. The links are solid. So are the end links. Hence, It has a nice substantial weight to it. I guess it's about 150g.

Black (dark grey) and brown dial models are also available.

Congrats, love it. I've noticed from the daily what are you wearing threads I like a lot of your watches and this is no exception. Love the wavy guilloché, and the roman numerals make it distinctive to me - seems like most chronos go Arabic. White dial is also refreshing.

Wish they made it around 40mm and I'd probably jump on one myself.

Thanks Tim. It's quite different from my other watches, but I'm digging it. Something new to me.

I took some photos from different angles which shows the case is curved to fit over your wrist nicely.

It's about 44.5mm wide including the crown.

Thanks. I'm very impressed with the quality of the bracelet, which is unusual for this price range of Seikos.

Thanks Ed. I got mine from Amazon. They say the crystal is Hardlex, but that's not correct.

The black dial model is even cheaper.

The brown dial model is somehow more expensive.

Always love it when an individual takes better photos than the seller. You can barely make out the guilloché on Amazon but here it makes the watch to me.

Very classy piece! It's funny because I think the white dial is gorgeous but I don't really care for the other color variations. This coming from someone who owns primarily black dialed watches. I've always thought that style bracelet was pretty unique too. Like TGE, if it was a bit smaller than 42mm, and I was in the market for a dressier watch, this one would definitely be in the running.
