Dress/vintage watches on striped natos...

I got the idea from the GQ magazine, when they featured a vintage Longines on different straps. I decided to give it a try and I loved the look. Gives you the excuse to wear elegant watches with casual outfits, and adds some bulk to dress/vintage watches that tend to be on the small side.

These will definitely be my summer favorites.

I concur. Pair the Orient on that strap with seersucker trousers and a linen shirt, and you have the makings of an ensemble that will keep you cool through a very hot summer.

Last year I noticed AlbertaTime wears most of his vintage Chinese watches on NATOs and I agree it looks perfect. Here's a vintage Sea-Gull on Timex Zulu.

Here's one I've been enjoying. The Orient Golden Eye on Crown & Buckle Tudor Heritage-style NATO.

Can look great, and a bit different (in a good way)... definitely a style trend right now. I don't even look for such things, but have seen this look used by J Crew, Ralph Lauren, and even a local mall ad amongst other places.
