After much thought I ordered a Dzik.

Then I changed it to a Sokol, on a brown band.

I can't wait - what a nice re-imagination of the dive watch style.

Also, mine is running +1s/day, fully wound. Not sure if that's a factory (G.Gerlach) adjustment, or I got lucky but it's damn good. Hope they all run like this.
    +1sec/day wow

Actually, it is nothing unusual for this movement - I have a watch with just same heart that gains 4s in a MONTH. Stable, for 3 years now.
This is one of the factors why we are using it. One of many.

Nooooo! That's horrible. Mine arrived Friday and thankfully I was around to catch it.

Tons of great photos in this thread already so I tried to get some up-close shots. The lettering on the face is tight! Very happy with the finish and details. Got to say I love the feel of the bezel too.

Our goal is a watch that you can use every day, not to big, not to small. With a good profile, to fit the wrist correctly.

We will finish a dials designing in about a week.

It's main motiv was actually set, by a curiousMan - it will be the mountains. We will put some story behind, as always

Interested for further details, anyone ?

Oh, by the way - sorry for a bad quality pictures, as I have made it directly from the board. I suppose, that you will see a ready product before we will have a renderings or something - this is somethings that hit us hard, we pay too much atention to the watch, and not enough to the commercial side. But can not promess that it will improve in the future ... But will try !
You can check for it at our FB profile as well, please lave a comment - we have switched to a dual-language style, and will keep it.

Re: G. Gerlach - Made in Poland

OK ... so I wanted one, but didn't have the $ - my dad however, since he was in Polish Navy, decided this is something that WE need to have I got Dzik 038, He has Sokol 038. They got here on Friday, and are really good looking pieces, good weight, perfect size, nice presence on the wrist. My dad's Sokol is perfect, no issue there. Mine overall is great but ...

So here's the complain section ...

    1. In mine, the bezel doesn't line up - as mentioned in some of the above posts. QC guy needs a new set of binnacles

    2. There is a ding on one of the "ears" It's a good size ding too, probably around 1mm in length - again, where was the QC?

    3. What kind of glue did you guys use for the bottom protective sticker? Holy crap! It was a ..... to remove it.

I don't mind the ding that much, and it won't be very visible on a watchadoo. But the bezel misalignment is a huuuuuuge annoyance. Hopefully you guys can offer some possible fix, because it looks like i got it at Wallmart

I still love it, i think it's a great styling and really nice finish. Couple of hiccups, that I don't want to send the watch back for, well mainly because my dad wanted both of our watches to have same numbers ... idk man ... work on the bezel DIY bezel fix guys \m/
