Help me find a doctor's/medical watch?

While looking at the watch-u-wearing threads in this forum I've often encountered obscure watches that got my attention and made me look into acquiring them. One that has been on the list for a while has been the Slava medical watch:

I come from a family of docs and I figured a medical watch would be a pretty unique gift for my sis when she graduates or my dad when he retires... The Slavas were impossible to find though. Stupidly, I never realized that the concept of a doctor's watch wouldn't be Russian-only. But I was browsing fliegeruhren and discovered an Aristo doctor's watch:

D'oh. Ofcourse there would be others. So now I'm curious. What other doctor's/medical watches do you know of (if possible, with specs (like quartz/auto and casesize) and prices)?

Thanks a lot in advance guys!

Several co's make pulsemeter watches...Kobold for 1. I believe that they convert pulse counts over seconds into bpm for heart rate calulation. One is listed on the Kobold web site

    Here's a really nice one.
Dcwrm, a frequent poster here who's since moved on had one.
    Priced right too I think.

You could probably find some of Doc's pics of this if you searched right.

Ah, I didn't know about the word 'pulsemeter', that really helps! I looked up the Kobold, it looks interesting as well!

Here are a couple of really interesting ones.

Here is a picture of an RLT - it's 149.00 GBP (close to $300 USD). It's one othe neatest watches I've seen - it's the RLT34 "Doctors" edition.

You can find it on RLT's website.

Another very interesting idea is the St. Gallens "Rescue" watch - which has a very unique 4 way second hand that is made just for Doctors, the watch itself breaks apart and is 100% disinfectable - not to mention it's a beautiful watch.

I'll save you the 3 day sof digging it took ME to find out that the watch is about $1300 bucks and is available right now only from St. Gallens themself via paypal and e-mail arrangement.

There was a WUS post with pictures here :

    St. Gallen Rescue

I'm not an MD, but I've been severely tempted by the St. Gallen. It has a 2824 movement in it - which is a little light for a $1300 watch IMHO, but... it's still very nice.

Thanks, that's one special looking watch! The 4 way second hand is something I've never seen before, very cool. The 2nd tachy scale for respiration is also new to me, to be honest I didn't even know that it was important .

On Harry Bishop's site I also discovered a link to the Angular Momentum Pulsus:

Wait a minute...you mean to tell me a Doctor can't afford a Kobold? I'll bet he'll look real good at the country club with that $149 watch...
