Hi my name is Adam and I like Invicta Watches.

Its time to celebrate Invicta.... Most of the invcta threads are about how terrible they are. well this is not an I hate invicta thread this is a thread for those who enjoy the large, strange looking at times, and homages they have created.. I like Invicta watches and i am not afraid to admit it. Those who have them and enjoy them lets see some pics (so if the thought of an Invicta watch makes your stomach turn grab a bag and please move on)

I have had one for a while and I love it. I wear it diving and all. Never a problem with it.

Re: Hi my name is Adam and I like Invicta Watches.

I have no prejudice against any brand. I own 2 Victas, and they have not given me any reasons to hate the brand. So why should I?
Mine are rather on the tame side, so nothing really to show.
But I will say that I am amazed at the diversity of designs they have. Not just dials and hands, but the WORKS! Holy cow! If only other brands would put in half the energy that Invicta puts in to theirs to try something different!
For that I have to laud Invicta.
Expected response from haters: "They make crap, so they hafta do all that doodad to get you to buy one." Yeah yeah, whatevah.

As for the accusation that they're "gaudy": I won't mention any names, but I've seen very highly regarded brands do things *much* worse.
But somehow, people who can't seem to get enough of the same old Submariner dial and same old dauphine hands for the Nth time, seem awfully mute when it comes to those "sacred" brands' transgressions.

Bottom line: I'd definitely be willing try out more Invictas (chronos only) IF they would:
    1. Make them smaller - like, under 43mm. 52mm is not comfortable for me. Sexy, sure, but not comfortable. ;)

    2. Stop the custom bracelets/straps racket.

I'm with you on the Invicta bandwagon, I have bought 3 Invicta's (all dive watches) and currently count 2 in my rotation. Just picked up a Grand Diver 3044, huge chunk of metal on the wrist with Minyota movement its been my most accurate auto I have ever owned. I'll post some pictures when I actually bother to take some.

I just like 'some' of their styles and their price points. I think they do give you a lot for the money compared to a lot of more popular brands out there.

Holy cow! So, Invictas take Seiko dials? (I am assuming that's a DAGAZ dial.)

I have an Ocean Ghost that I'd like to change the case of - into a smaller Seiko case.
Any idea if this would work? I'm trying to salvage the dial + hands, and the movement if possible.

I have 2 Invictas that I enjoy and get regular wrist time in my rotation: my Ocean Reef and Pro Diver. They have been good watches for what I paid for them.

The newer 8926's do. Dials made for 3 o'clock crowns should drop in. I have one that I'm going to mod this weekend and one that is out to Jay at MCWW (Seiko dial but the hands I wanted only fit ETA movements and I can't do that type of mod.).
