A new dishwasher, dehumidifier, and a little treat for my pocket which I can't post here...so now you know why I haven't bought any watches lately!

Rounding out my formal watch collection... I've got my black-dialed Hammy Jazzmaster on a black strap, my blue-dialed Seiko 5 on a walnut brown strap, and my white-dialed, gold-case Orient on a light golden-brown strap. Figured I could go for something with a silver dial on dark brown.

I know Skagen's got no cred around here, but I like this particular model a lot. Doesn't hurt that it's a pretty reasonable homage to the PP worn by Ryan Gosling in Drive.

Shut your mouth and wear your Alpinist.
Note that "Your Alpinist" is metaphorical and in truth refers to your most versatile watch.

First of all, RIP the original thread. I am going to miss having to go through 100 pages of replies .

On a more pertinent note, since I am at the moment wholly content with both my watch and strap collections, I figured I should get something to go along with them. A Fisher B4 seemed to be a good gateway drug.

Spooky. I've just started getting into pens too. Bought a Lamy Safari fountain pen and saving for a Faber-Castell Emotion.
