    Invicta Grand Diver - Cyclops

Hi, I bought an Invicta Grand diver, the 3045, blue dial.
I really like the watch a whole lot. For +/-$110 it's a bargain in my opinion.
My first Invicta and I am impressed. It wears big and easy.
The NH35 movement is holding time to within 5 seconds a day which is better than my Sumo.

A question though, my watch's cyclops sits ontop of the crystal. (On the "outside" of the watch.)
Is this the norm for these watches? I thought it would be placed, "inside", between the dial and the crystal.

    Any info appreciated.
    Thanks.

It's completely normal for the cyclops to be on the outside of the crystal. However, some people really don't like the way it looks, and they just remove it. If you're interested, there are a bunch of threads on this forum about members removing the cyclops(es?) from their watches that can be easily done at home. Glad you like your watch otherwise though!

I have removed several, but my latest attempt was on an Invicta with Flame Fusion crystal, which proved more difficult than my previous attempts, and I cracked it. Too much heat, I think.

Homage watches democratize history for the common wrist.

Not bad accuracy IMO. How does the blue dial look? Pictures look ok, but sometimes colors don't come out right. If done right, the blue could look awesome. Just look at the blue mako.

    Hi, thanks for the replies.
I think I will live with the cyclops where it is, as it helps me reading the date. (The arm is getting shorter.)

The blue used on the bezel is a tat light in my opinion.
The blue used on the dial looks right to me.
Comparing it to my wife's Omega seamaster, the seamaster's blue is quite darker.
But overall the Invicta blue makes for a nice looking watch, the above is just my personal preferences.
