    Longines vs Baume & Mercier

I would like to say hello first as this is my first post on this forum!

I am very curious whether Longines or Baume & Mercier is considered superior and more prestigeous. I would like to know what people here think of these brands and how they rate them.

Both brands have a long and solid reputation. Probably be a toss up on which is "better". I would take either one in a minute.

I helped my nephew make a watch purchase a couple years ago, he bought the B&M Capeland...very, very nice. Awesome F & F.

    My 2 cents

As to value, Longines holds the edge.

I really like this very classic watch. The dial is very simple and clean, it's quartz movement. Please let me know what you think about this model.

The Classima has the look that'll never go out of style.

Would you choose the particular model shown above or would you go for another CLASSIMA EXECUTIVES?

They both look like great watches but for me since you dont have an actual picture to go by for the second one then #1 is the top choice on looks right now. Dress shirt and tie (white shirt)

    Definitely agree with Rob here.
Supposedly in Swatch' "Master Plan", Omega is going upscale to slay Rolex (as if...) and Longines steps into Omega's niche.
