I am going to bump this once to see if anyone knows about the quality of this kenetic watch I found. Can anyone tell me how seiko watches grade out. Like this:
1. Grand seiko
2. Seiko Perpetual
3. Seiko 5
4. Seiko Kenetic
Am I on the right track.

The button moves the seconds hand to indicate the power reserve.
Your list is slightly on the wrong track, because 'Perpetual' and 'Kinetic' refer to technology rather than grade. Grand Seiko is correctly placed in the number one position. Seiko 5 should be at the bottom. 'Perpetual' and 'Kinetic' will describe the technology of models of all grades, but most of them will fall between Grand Seiko and Seiko 5.
The watch you have chosen is very nice, and could be described as a mid-tier Seiko - i.e. good quality.

Crusader Mk1148 • CWC RN Diver • Damasko DA36 • Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox (1960s) • Longines Evidenza • Mido Commander • Omega Speedmaster • Tutima Flieger Chronograph 1941 • Tutima Pacific • Wempe Zeitmeister
As Tribe125 points out, there aren't comparable. For autos, Grand Seiko is at the top and Seiko 5 is the bottom, but still good quality - just with less features and lower finishes. The Seiko 5 Sports models confuse things somewhat, as they feature things like solid bracelets and cost about the same as standard Seiko dive watches.
For quartz, Spring Drive is their top level. Kinetic can be found in watches at various finish levels, ranging from mid-tier and up. Perpetual means it has a calendar that doesn't need to be reset. You can get watches with both, but Seiko has decided that is a combo that you should pay a a lot for, and put up with very cluttered dials.
For me, Citizen's Eco-Drive is a better system, as it doesn't have moving parts that charge the battery. However, the difference probably isn't enough to be more important than finding a design that you like. Seiko also does some solar watches, but I have no idea how they perform in relation to eco-drives.

Thanks for everyones help looking at the Seiko SGG713P1.
Well after the information from the kind people from this site and doing a little reasearch I pulled the so called trigger a couple days back. I ended up with this Seiko
The best thing about this in my opinion is the price was under 200.00 and for that I got a Perpetual Calendar and Saphire glass. To me this is a good start, so what do you all think of the purchase.

The button is for changing date/year settings for the calendar.
Whoa... I was just about to suggest a seiko premier with a perpetual calendar and than bam! You got it! And a bargain price too I might add. Lovely watch. Enjoy :)
My watch does a lot more than just tell the time...
it tells a life story...
Whoops sorry it's a coutura. Still a good choice :)
