Nice watch! Mine is pretty similar, it is one of the Alterna models (I don't know if they're sold outside of Japan)

    Thanks!
This is my last try at titanium, I wore it few a times, and it held up well......but I ended up selling it. Titanium is not for me it always feels cheap.....I prefer the look and feel of stainless.

very nice looking watch, I have a similar one on the leather strap, I like the blueish hue of the lume and I think it is done well, it does not light up like a Christmas tree but it has enough to tell the time and what has lume on it stands out quite well jmo

Titanium doesn't feel cheap at all, its just light. I think you just prefer a heavier watch!

Titanium is one of the highest performing metals on the planet, its far lighter than stainless, harder (Rockwell) and far far better at handling the elements...especially sea water!

I own this watch and its still the nicest looking chrono I have. Titanium is a fantastic choice for an everyday watch especially if you use a computer as its super light...you barely notice you are wearing it. You can pick it up now for around $400. I got it from Watches88 who have a few left.

I know the advantages of titanium but still can't get past the cheap feel.....it's like strapping on a plastic swatch, no matter how good it looks or performs, it feels cheap. It's me....titanium is great.

I'm usually not much fond of Citizen's, maybe because of the limited variety I've seen in my country, but this one is really looking great, congrats

Question Re: New Citizen Chronograph CA0020-56E

is the material in CA0020 titanium or super titanium. I have read that CA0021 is super titanium, and the material is much harder than normal titanium. I am getting ca0020 at a much cheaper rate, but want to make sure the material is hard and durable, want to avoid scratches on my time piece, as I want to have it for long term. Please advice urgently. Kindly send me a reply directly at vipulsaini1402@gmail.com. Appreciate the help watch lovers

Below is a hardness comparison from watches88.com

    Stainless Steel – Hv150-220
    Normal Titanium – HV170-200
    Super Titanium – Hv1000-1200

I don't know about the Citizen but I have a Timex TX in titanium and it scratches if you look at it the wrong way. I love the watch but hate to wear it for fear of scratching it.

That's a great looking watch Gary, sometimes Citizen can go overboard with clutter on the dial making the watch unappealing. Even with the sub-dials this one looks nice and clean, great pick up.
