Opinions on Traser Watches?

I searched around, didn't see too much written about this brand. I've been taken by the Classic Automatic Pro, seems like a good deal considering the ETA 2824-2 movement and PVD'ed case and bracelet. I've seen them for less than $400, one sold for $275 on this forum (I missed it, dang ). Good deal, or should I save a little more and buy something else?

All I can say Klesk is I've never read any complaints re: Traser.
I recently bought an inexpensive quartz model and it's very well put together.

Thanks, I noticed that too, I just didn't know if I should attribute that to the fact that the watch is well made or just that there aren't that many out there. I know that people on this forum are pretty vocal about their favorite watches, nobody is saying much about Traser. Maybe Trasers just don't generate the kind of enthusiam that is shown to some other brands?

I love the titanium quartz I have, and would buy the one you after in a hot second if I had,'t already spent 6 months "allowance" this year.

I love my Ti quartz Traser. I think it's one of the few beaters I have ever owned that is looking better with age. The titanium finish is oxidizing nicely and turning much darker. I think you can still find this model with matching Ti bracelet for around $235.

Thanks guys... I think. Now I'm really considering buying the Classic Auto Pro that I was looking at, even though I just bought a Marathon G-SAR.

Nice pic Malyel. Your watch has that Japanese thing going on where they purposely weather an item to give it a worn look. Can't think of the name for that offhand.

Traser watches are excellent. I owned a Traser quartz a while back and it was an excellent watch.

Traser and Luminox are the same company. Traser is the European marketed version and Luminox is the American market one.

The Traser Classic Automatic is a very nice watch and I too, was considering buying it.

I ended up with a Ball Fireman and can't be happier. If you haven't looked into Ball I suggest checking them out. The fit and finish is out of this world. The engineering behind them is quite impressive!

hmmm thats not true. Luminox was started by some guy here in USA, totally separate from mb microtech.
