Seiko 5 vs. Citizen BM8180 vs Timex Ana-Digital

I am looking to maybe ditch the plasticky looking Timex Ana-Digital I have currently and go for something a little nicer looking that will be my only watch. I have narrowed it down to three:
    1. Seiko 5 SNK 809/807/another color
    2. Citizen BM8180
    3. Timex T44642:
Timex Men's Analog and Digital Combo Watch T44642

I have had a Seiko 5 before and also Timex before. I liked the Seiko but I was constantly adjusting it and winding it. I like Timex Ana-Digi's but wish the lume would be better on the hands. The Citizen looks like a real solid watch. I could live with out an alarm and stop watch (I Phone has both). Which would you guys recommend

Just my two cents here. I have the Seiko 809. For the money it's an amazing watch. It's ellegent but tough looking and keeps great time. The Citizen is probably similar (like Ford vs. Chevy). The Timex is a good watch but I don't think on the same shelf as the other two. The question is, which one do YOU like?

Are you completely set on the size of the watch? 37mm~38mm? I have slim wrist but I found SNK809's 38mm to be way too tiny. The dial diameter feels as small as a size of quarter coin or water bottle cap on your wrist. Okay, it's tiny bit bigger but you get what I mean. So I ended up trading it and gotten a SNZG13 instead. I wear it on NATO strap. I'm not saying there's anything wrong wearing 38mm size but depending on the watch it can wear very small or just right. My most recent acquisition that costed about $350 was 38mm sized watch so I don't have anything against 38mm size. But from my experience with SNK809, I think SNZG13 has much more solid feel than SNK809 and worthy of being your "only watch".

I think your three choices all seem like good "only 1 watch" examples, certainly if you are trying to stay under $80. I would agree though that the SNZG13 or 15 is a nice upgrade from the 809, unless you really strongly prefer 38mm (which is a perfect size for many people.) Here's my SNZG15, the watch I was researching a few years ago that led me to discover this forum. I should probably regret that....

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

After some searching and negotiating, I ended up going with a Citizen BM8180 that I got off Ebay. It came with five straps. I sold three, kept a leather NATO that came with it and bought a black military nylon band also. Pics to come..

Nice, get those pics here ASAP :D

I wish they would do the SNZG15 watches with the same dial style as the SNK watches. I vastly prefer those dials, but yeah they wear a bit small.

Fair play, that Timex looks good to me for a cheap beater/work watch. I may buy one for myself, if only it was slightly smaller- does anyone know if they make a smaller version?
