What a long, strange trip it's been... - The Grateful Dead
Yea right
In the People's Republic of America?
I saw that at the beginning of the year...I mean you guys are on the Invicta mailing list, right?
I have heard the made in America series is assembled in Florida at the Invicta USA headquarters. Most of them use Swiss movements though.

Invicta needs to fire their entire marketing team immediately. That was horrible.
Bwahahahaha
That was a horrible video, and my favorite line was "you can almost hear the beating heart of a soaring eagle"
I am not an Invicta basher by any means, and have 3 I like very much, but I noticed that there was NO mention of where the parts are sourced.
Perhaps the "Made in the USA" tag has a similar connotation to the Germasian "Made in Germany" tags we see so often. <sigh>
Cheers,
Griff
LOL wut?
The black-face one is the better-looking of the two by far (red white and blue just aren't a pretty combination, from a purely aesthetic standpoint), but aside from an OK-looking watch, who is Invicta targeting with that junior college Introduction to Macromedia Flash midterm project? It's like the instructor said, "You may use no more than 3 images, and 4 seconds of audio."
The people that still give a crap about "Made in USA" products (mostly old fogies and rednecks, in my experience) aren't YouTube watchers, I don't think. Maybe this ad runs during "This Old House" and "Columbo" reruns?
I'm all for more US-based watchmaking, but an Invicta with parts of unspecified origin that happen to have been assembled in America doesn't quite do it for me. I'd be way more enthusiastic if Timex re-opened one of their US factories.
I guess we know why Invicta is an affordable brand. They're definitely cutting corners on their marketing and design teams :)
