Tag Heuer chronographs - any good homages around?

I'm looking for a affordable chronograph with red second hand, probably quartz in my budget, around $ 120 or so.

Something in Formula 1 or Carrera style, anyone knows any good homages?

The red second hand is a must, I love the look of it:

$120 is too low. Victorinox homage is a good quality one using swiss movement. Cost around $300.

Casio has some very nice Carrera homages in their Edifice line. If you do go for an Edifice, be careful; lots of fakes on ebay and some other online sellers.

Increase the budget to around $500 and you might be able to get a Tissot PRS516:

Not an exact homage as it brings a lot of Tissot qualities such as the T shaped chrono seconds hand (which I love!) but I think it's as close as your going to get that has some quality behind it.

Amazon have them for $495. Also in Blue and White dial variations with either a stainless steel, rubber or leather band.

@pala10, this Tissot looks awsome, haven't heard of it before... it's a bit more then I've had in mind, but it would be totally worth it.

@ckot, Edifice sounds great. Haven't really found exact one I would want, but I think I could mod one a bit, adding the red second hand :)

@jkchua and Triton9, thanks for suggestions guys, I'll have a look into it :)

Jay at MCWW will paint a hand in a slew of different colors (I'm in the middle of a project like that myself).

@Drop of a hat, thanks for the info. I happen to have local watchsmith few km from me, who did one similar project for me a while ago

@paulopiper, thanks mate, I have checked few pages, but there are a lot of them, I need to take some time to browse them all

I've been scoping it for a while but retail for this in Australia is about $750! Could get for less online but would not be able to try on.

I think it looks better on the leather strap as well, but it's the Chronograph seconds hand that really does it for me.
