    The box :

A no name box, this time…

So, to answer the main question : is this watch that big ?

Well, in short : yes. Gigantic.

But here it is, under a sleeve :

Believe it or not, it goes perfectly well under a buttoned sleeve (only one has to use the second button, but that's all)

How is it possible ? Well, the watch is rather thin ; only 13mm on the caliper, at its highest point

The watch is rather elegant, which is a bit surprising (in a good way ) for a such a large thing…

The blacken crown (no idea if it's paint ; it's steel, definitely not rubber)

No idea what the movement is… I thought it could be the same that can be found on Alpha GMTs…

There a second time zone, but the minute hand there is synchronized with the regular minute hand.

The hour hand can be set independently, otherwise.

    A very nice watch

The BIG DATE is one of those 39-days type no big deal, really

CONCLUSION : for my second purchase from TAO, I'm very happy, again

The quality is impressive, especially for a sub 80$ watch o_O

    Thanks for reading

Good lord that thing is HUGE! Looks nice though. I may need to take a look at some Tao watches soon. I am not the biggest fan of the Calibre (design just isn't for me) but this one looks nice and well put together.

Lovely, Reno. If anyone can pull off wearing a watch that huge, you can.
Homage watches democratize history for the common wrist.

    Cheers! +james

    Thanks Fullers

I was genuinely surprised how easily I got used to it

    I took Q&D shots a few minutes ago…

Funny thing, my wrists aren't so big @ 17,5cm

My wrist is the same size, but I just don't think I would be comfortable wearing a watch that big. It's very nice looking though. Congrats!

    It is nuts;)

Nice pics and write up. I've considered a few Tao's, but haven't pulled the trigger/won an auction yet. Mind you, I'll be going with something MUCH smaller.

btw- if you try buying from them on ebay, they use schil bidders to make sure the auctions never end below where they are willing to sell.
