    Both look great but I give the edge to the Mido. Something about the Certina's date at the 4:30 position just throws off the symmetric cross hair pattern of the dial for me.

    Love the bracelet on the Certina - reminds me of the speedy pro bracelet.

    Certina = classic.
    Mido = weird.

    IMO, and in general too. Not just this example.
    Homage watches democratize history for the common wrist.

    Like the Mido for the dial, pass on the Certina. The Certina just looks boring.

    I wear watches so I have something pretty to stare at. If I want to know the time, I just take out my cell phone like everyone else.

    I think I prefer the look of the Mido. Both are great looking watches though. Thanks for adding 2 more to my want list Drew. I didn't think it was long enough anyway.

    Mido for sure - love the perlage dial. The Certina is nice but the sub-second markings are a deal breaker for me - always.

    I want to like the Mido for the dial, but the huge day/date window and funky hour markers don't do it for me. Certina FTW.

    The Mido is definitely bolder. It is a nice design, more interesting than the DS-1, IMHO.

    Always great to see a wide range of styles - I'm an omnivore. I like them both for different reasons. Mido feels unique, and the striped guilloche has a bit of attitude. I think I slightly prefer the Certina for a classic elegance and modernist simplicity. I wouldn't kick either out of bed though.

    Too many watches, not enough wrists.
