    Waiting for Orange Monster

Just ordered an Orange Monster from Worldofwatches.com on a WOOT deal. I have always enjoyed watches, but I would say this will be my nicest so far. Thanks Watchuseek for making this an "obsession".

I like making things unique and will be looking into mods. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Will definately post a pic when watch comes in. (might have to wait for Christmas, since technically it is a gift from my wife...)

    Congrats on the Orange Monster
My only regret was that I didn't buy mine with the bracelet, I went with the rubber strap instead...

    Cheers,

I was thinking of a Seiko dive watch as something of a casual/outdoor wear watch with a rubber strap. I think I like the 007-style better, but everyone says a collector needs a Monster. Which would you guys rather have? An SKX007 or an Orange Monster? The Monster is supposed to be exceptional value for money, but if I go with the rubber strap, is that value negated?

Why let "everyone" spend YOUR money?
If you like the 007 one's better, go for it.

Vive le difference, I guess. I got mine with the strap and I love it. I find the bracelet a bit too much. Too much what, exactly, I don't know. Beauty watch, either way.

As for mods, I saw a picture of an OM posted here with the bezel markers lumed and that looked pretty cool. I've seen some of the OM mod threads and wasn't crazy about the hand change-outs and whatnot. I really like the way it looks as is.

Anyway, enjoy your watch. I wear mine at work daily and even after a year, I still find myself admiring it.
