Wanted: Women's Skeleton Automatic (less than 42mm)

My wife doesn't particularly like watches. She owns two— gifts— but doesn't wear them.

So I was surprised this afternoon when she waxed enthusiastic about a watch on my screen— a 42 mm Kemmler Skeleton watch.

Only thing is, it's a little big for her (very small) wrists.

She also loved the 38 mm, $115 Fossil Original Boyfriend Skeleton automatic watch for women (steel case on bone leather strap).

Can you guys give feedback on those two models? Are there any other suggestions that I should be looking at?

    Thanks in advance…

Genuine Swiss w/ Swiss ETA movement: Swatch Body and Soul & Uncle Charly on SS bracelets and there's also a girlier looking one on a white leather strap. 37ish mm dia. Shockingly inexpensive.

Hamilton Viewmatic Open Heart Lady 34mm if you can spend 1kish. There's also a "skeleton" version, but that retails for over 2k. Seiko and Bulova make some cheaper skeleton watches for ladies. Just search on Google.

Doesn't Orient have a line of open hearts for women?

She doesn't like the open heart stuff nearly as much. Full skeleton or bust!

If I spend $1k on this watch, she will never, ever wear it.

Hamilton makes a few ladies skeleton watches in the $750 range. Definitely a step up in quality from the ones you are considering. And, it's 'Swiss' if that's important.

+1 on the Swatch suggestion. If you want to keep it under $250, that's probably your best bet.

I don't trust those low budget Chinese mechanicals for some reason.
