    Thanks,

I got it now for 2 weeks, first i wore it with the original steel bracelet. I was hard to remove the links btw, the bracelet was bead blasted too. It was delivered with 2 screwdrivers for the screws in the bracelet, but some pins (with screws) were hard to get out of the bracelet because the end of the screw was beadblasted too, so it had too much friction.
But i managed to get the right size for the bracelet, after that I changed to the rubber strap (that was included too), it was a dust magnet :P.
So now im wearing it with the nato, feels the most comfy and doesnt move so much around my wrist.

The Kemmners accuracie is still good too, it only loses something like 3 sec/day.
Does anyone got some tips btw to speed it up at night?
Someone told me to lay it down face up and then it will gain a little bit of time.

Thanks for the kind words about the photo. That was taken last autumn with some back-yard harvest including habanero peppers, serrano peppers, and yellow cherry tomatoes. Silicone is very good for swimming, offering a waterproof material that feels a lot like leather. I doubt that it's as strong or long lasting as leather that stays dry; but silicone remains pliable after getting wet, unlike leather that gets brittle. SOme pure silicone straps are lint magnets because of a slightly sticky surface, but this rally strap has a "polished" surface that doesn't seem to attract lint. Both of those straps come from International Watchman in Ohio. Most of their straps are $6-$10, some $15 (esoterics get higher.) I tend to buy a bunch at a time so I save on shipping and have different styles to play with.
Nice, I will go looking for a "polished" silicon band too.
Because my rubber strap is a lint magnet indeed.

Here's an old Rolex page on positional regulation.

Homage watches democratize history for the common wrist.

Thanks, I was looking for that.

Great question - one that I grapple with all the time. Bracelets are definitely the best fit for me, however, they really lack imagination.

Did you ever take your watch off the bracelet it came with and put it on something else and then all of a sudden the dial POPS at you?! If you havent - then do so.

The best thing about a sub style watch is that they look great with almost everything. Forget about those who say that it cannot go on leather. variety is the spice of life.

Leather is most comfortable for me, even though I can never get them to fit quite right without punching an odd hole in the strap. Same with nato. Rubber with deployment is good too, but they get really hot in the summer - hotter than leather, I think.

Re: What watchband do you use on your Submariner/dive watch?

My Mako went from steel to leather to nato and eventually back to steel.
Although I liked every look, watch on the shell cordovan leather just sat weirdly on my wrist, wouldn't stay centered no matter what I do. It looked really nice on nato, and stayed on it for quite some time. And when I was putting it back on steel I made sure I wanted it to stay there for a while, cause it's a real pain to fit those end links. As one of the posters said, I like the heft of the watch when it's on a solid bracelet.

    Cheers!

You can get a similar strap from Ron at The Official Site of International Watchman Inc.- IWI, IW Suisse, IWI Suisse, IWI Swiss, IW Swiss, IWI Suiss, IW Suiss, IW watches, IWI watches . I believe he calls it Oris style strap. And all the straps from Ron are great quality and extremely affordable.

    Cheers!
