my loudest is my hand wound Pilot, with a poljoot P31681 in it... a clear and loud ticking sound, at night... i can't let it stand on a hard table, or hard surface, as it amplifyes the already loud sound.
i love this watch, though...![]()

I made a video of my Parnis GMT with asian 6497 ticking away. I recorded the audio separately so I could more accurately record the sound. Video recorded with Canon T2i + 50mm f/1.8.

My Poljot 3133 chronograph. Sometimes I think "what is that ticking sound"...oh yeah, its my watch. I don't mind it though.
Thanks,
Mike

My '85 Rolex Datejust can be heard ticking away if you hold it right by your ear, but it's very soft, quite satisfying, and the same with my Bulova BVA 100. None of my watches are audible though unless they are held directly by the ear. My wall clock on the other hand is quite loud, but in a good way
My Jazzmaster is my only mechanical. I cannot hear it when I stand with my hands down to my side. If I was resting my head on my hand I can hear it, further than that I cannot.
My friend commented that it is more quiet than his Sub Date.

It's not a mechanical, but my loudest watch is my Timex Expedition Camper T42571. It makes a very distinctive "click... click... click..." sound as it runs. Of my mechanicals, the rotors on my two Orient Makos are fairly audible when I swirl them around (but not during normal wear), and that's about all.

Cheers,
This is an easy one . . . Every Swatch I ever owned. Inexpensive, accurate, reliable to the extreme. And I will never own a Swatch again due to the incredibly loud ticking that nearly drove me insane. Got to the point where I couldn't keep them in the same room I was sleeping in because of how loud they were. Seperate rooms or bury them at the bottom of a drawer with several towels on top to muffle the sound.
