This is another HMT Janata varient, Black Dialled, HMT NISHAT
Is there anywhere reliable to buy these watches?
I see a lot on ebay, many of which claim to be repainted etc., so I'm assuming they are fake or at least not all original, others look too good to be true, like bright red dials with bright red rubber straps.
And then other still are really very expensive from what I've been led to believe they are worth. Like $60+ for some models I've been led to believe are worth 2/3 that.
There are a ton of "Jawan" model watches on ebay for about $20 though, but I vaguely doubt their authenticity due to massive numbers for so cheap.
Oh, and the guy calling them “GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC SWISS MADE VINTAGE WATCH” doesn't help.
