Your opinion on a leather strap

Hey guys! I recently purchased a Steinhart Nav-B Uhr Stainless Steel. I wasn't too fond of the strap in the website's pictures so I ordered a custom leather strap while I was waiting to receive the watch. Well, once my new watch arrived, I noticed that the strap was actually perfect for the watch and I love it!

Now my dilemna is to match the new leather strap with one of my other watches. The only one that I can think of is my Invicta Corduba Black Widow. I took some shots of the original mesh link bracelet and then some with the new leather strap.

Which one do you guys prefer?


I usually prefer leather but I'm not sure if putting an expensive strap on a cheap watch is appropriate...

The strap looks pretty good on that, but I'm sure it could be better on something else.

I'd leave the strap on the Invicta and enjoy it until you get another watch that works better with it. Looks like it will only get better with wear/time, so might as well use it.

I like the leather on the Invicta but it just seems wrong to pair the two...

I've been thinking of maybe getting another watch to match it with the strap but most of the watches I've been eyeing (Steinhart, Tissot, Hamilton, Christopher Ward) all come with great straps. Maybe I should look at getting a PAM homage?

I think this thread should have raised the question of what watch would you guys pair with this strap?
