Question Have you bought anything from eDayBuy.com?

The site purports to be Chinese and offers the $112 Sea-Gull M186S homage, called Fineat 8009, for $13 (this watch was recently pictured in our WUS 2012 Project discussions) and a 24-hour, world-time Winner for $15. Shipping is $3. I looked for reviewers and found only one, who said he'd been ripped off. Will someone in our community please tell me more about this seller before I click "buy" (and possibly my $18 good-bye)?

I attempted to purchase that very watch from eDayBuy.com, but they didn't accept paypal, which is a none starter for me.

One of the other members on the forum found it for me at this ebay seller: ELEGANT Automatic Mechanical Wrist Watch Mens Day Date | eBay The link is for the black faced version. Normally this seller has about 1 per day of the silver faced version. I bid $1 for mine and won. Total was $18 shipped.

I love my fineat 8009, so much so, I order another to keep in storage for when the original craps out on me. I've never bought 2 of same watch before. You will want to replace the band. I put a black aligator on mine and it looks very nice.Name: fineat.jpg

eBay says I won the bid, and PayPal says I've been charged $17.98. No tracking info yet, but I assume the watch is en route. I'll tell you when it arrives, between July 21 and August 6.

Buddy, the Fineat arrived this very minute--and it's a beauty! You were right to change to a leather bracelet. The stainless steel, though substantial, kinda cheapens the look of this elegant analog. Now let's see how long it ticks the time away. Again, thanks for pointing me to the right seller.

Have had the watch for some days now. It's a true automatic and has kept time to within 5 sec of my quartz-powered Seiko Solar.
