    Huanghe generosity!!

I've gotta be one of the luckiest folks on the planet, and I'm really pleased to let you all know about another kindness received by me and the AMCHPR. This time, it's courtesy saskwatch (Jon) who, besides being a knowledgeable and perceptive collector of VCMs, has been a real gentleman ever since he joined us at WUS (and I'm not the only person who has benefitted from Jon's thoughtfulness).

I was very pleased to receive this beautiful Huanghe with a textured peacock dial as a gift to the AMCHPR collection. It can be difficult to photograph these pieces but I did my best to show the workmanship.

Looks like we have both been recipients of a very generous man!

I know you are just as tickled with yours as I am mine

Beautiful! Not only has Saskwatch proven his generosity, but he has ensured the preservation of yet another rare Chinese watch in the safe hands of the AMCHPR. Hopefully all future generations who come visit the permanent exhibits of the AMCHPR will be able to appreciate this thriving mechanical watch industry we have all come to love! So, Ron, when are you starting construction for the new wing of the museum?
Too many watches, not enough wrists.
